Antique shopping in North Texas has been taken to a new
level. The circa 1884 Tyler & Simpson Wholesale Grocers
building has been renovated and reopened as the Antique &
Design Center of North Texas, and there is nothing else like it
from Oklahoma City to Dallas or Wichita Falls to
Shreveport.
The 50,000 square foot building, located in the historic
city of Gainesville, houses over 50 dealers featuring quality
American and European antiques, interior furnishings, art,
lighting, accessories, collectibles and more. |

- The building that the antique store occupies
has been completely restored and climate controlled in an ideal
location on Gainesville's main street. One of the largest pre 1900
buildings in North Texas, the Center exudes a charm and aura that
can not be matched by modern buildings. Historic Gainesville offers
many other attractions including antique shops, malls, dining,
museums, a historic homes district and a 19th century Courthouse
Square.
- We are adjacent to one of Texas' finest
Historic railway depots, which is still in operation. Amtrak
disembarks up to 200 passengers from Oklahoma and points north each
morning for a day of sightseeing and shopping.
- The store also provides delivery and pickup
within a 150-mile radius. We also provide refinishing and repair services. All are
offered at reasonable prices. Our shipping
rates are surprisingly affordable.
- Store is located just north of the
Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex, projected to be one of the three
fastest growing areas in the United States. The population is
educated and affluent. Oklahoma City and Tulsa buyers have
traditionally traveled to the D-FW and Houston areas for antiques.
Antique & Design Center of North Texas will be the closest
large Texas source for Oklahoma.
